Directed by Anurag Basu, who is making a comeback after a five-year directorial hiatus, the upcoming film is presented as a spiritual successor to his 2007 cult hit ‘Life in a… Metro’. The film stars Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Konkona Sen Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, Neena Gupta, Anupam Kher, and Saswata Chatterjee in the lead roles.
Set to release in theaters on July 4, the trailer revolves around the lives of 4 couples and how they experience love and its complications in the modern world. The music of the film is given by Pritam, while the story and screenplay are written by Anurag Basu.
