MOMO. has shared “Egum Eô,” the first single from his upcoming album Tum Tum Tum. The London-based Brazilian artist continues to blend sounds and influences gathered from a life lived across Brazil, Angola, the United States, Spain, Portugal, and the UK.
The new album, sung in both Portuguese and English, explores themes of continuity, movement, and connection. Tum Tum Tum also features guest appearances from Brazilian music legend Marcos Valle and Nina Miranda.
Recorded live in South London with his longtime collaborators and band members, including UK jazz trombonist Rosie Turton, the album carries a warm, relaxed, and free-flowing sound. Described as MOMO.’s eighth studio album, the project reflects an artist fully comfortable in his creative space.
Lead single “Egum Eô” immediately sets the tone with rich Brazilian rhythms, layered percussion, bright horn sections, and a playful groove. The track slowly builds into a loose jam session atmosphere while maintaining an uplifting energy throughout.

Speaking about the song, MOMO. explained that “Egum Eô” felt like an invocation during the recording process. He shared that the phrase connects to ancestral spirits in Candomblé and emerged naturally while the band played around the Afro-Brazilian drum rhythms.
The visualiser for the track was created by Raíssa Pardini in collaboration with Conor Lumsden, while Pardini also designed the album artwork.
Alongside the new release, MOMO. has announced a series of European tour dates later this year, including shows in Paris, Berlin, Hamburg, and London.
