Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the epic film is the first chapter of an ambitious two-part series of the Ramayana. It has been reported the combined budget of both the films is 4,000 crore, making it the most expensive film in Indian cinema. The Ramayana has an ensemble cast, including Sunny Deol, Ravi Dubey, Rakul Preet Singh, Lara Dutta, Arun Govil, Kunal Kapoor, and many more.
