MIAMI — Sophie Rain is calling out fellow OnlyFans star Bonnie Blue, accusing her of turning the platform into a “clown show.”
“It’s no longer women empowerment. It’s shock value, and she’s making a joke out of all of us,” Rain claims. “We built this space to take control of our bodies and make money on our terms, not to fake pregnancies, marriages, and throw cake at people in public.”
Rain’s comments follow a string of viral stunts by Blue, who recently made headlines for staging a fake wedding with a fan and live-streaming a mock arrest as part of a promotional campaign.
While some followers praised the antics as bold marketing, others, like Rain, say it’s damaging the credibility of the creators who use the platform professionally.
“Brands don’t take us seriously anymore. Media doesn’t take us seriously,” Rain added. “I’m tired of having to explain that not all of us are doing circus acts for clicks.”
“I would really like to know who is running her clown show”
OnlyFans, which surged in popularity during the pandemic as a subscription-based content platform largely used by adult creators, has faced ongoing tension between its image as a tool of empowerment and the spectacle some users bring to the space.
“There are thousands of women making real money and supporting themselves through this,” she said.
