Dayton, OH – QTG Management is proud to announce the upcoming release of “2 The Moon,” the highly anticipated new single from Pop Rapper and StreetLyte founder Psunami Great. Set to drop this October, the record arrives as the first official release under his newly solidified partnership with QTG Management, following his signing in May 2026.

Described by Psunami Great as “the perfect song to get ready right before you go out,” “2 The Moon” is a pregame anthem with a purpose—one that takes listeners on a journey from feeling stuck to stepping fully into their power.

A Song About Rising From the Funk

At its core, “2 The Moon” is about transformation. Psunami Great explains the concept simply: “It’s about being in a funk, getting out that funk, realizing who you are, and heading straight to the moon.”

The track captures that pivotal moment when doubt gives way to clarity, and clarity gives way to action. It’s not just a song for the club or the car—it’s a soundtrack for anyone who has ever had to pull themselves out of a dark place and decide to move forward with confidence.

    The Creative Process

The record came together with a sense of purpose and immediacy. Producer Kaiso sent the beat over, and Psunami Great knew exactly where to take it.

“The process was simple,” he recalls. “My producer Kaiso sent this record over and I knew where I wanted to go immediately. The slightly dark ambiance gave me inspiration sat right under the 808s, making it easy to portray that ‘lions den’ feeling.”

That “lions den” energy—the sense of being surrounded by pressure, doubt, and obstacles—became the emotional foundation of the track. But rather than staying there, the song moves through it, using the darkness as a launching pad rather than a destination.

For Psunami Great, the recording process itself is a spiritual exercise. “Since I freestyle everything off the dome, I generally light a candle and my blunt and let the spirit take over from there,” he shares. That organic, intuitive approach allows the music to feel raw, honest, and unfiltered—a hallmark of his artistry.

    Opening Lines That Hit Home

The song opens with a hook that is both catchy and relatable, grounding its cosmic ambition in everyday experience:

“Saint Laurent suit, I know what to do / Imma put the tie on like job interview.”

It’s a simple image—getting dressed, preparing for something important—but it carries deeper meaning. As Psunami Great explains, it’s “something we’ve all done, but metaphorically representing climbing out of that lions den or that funk.”

That ability to take the ordinary and elevate it into something universal is what sets Psunami Great apart. Whether he’s writing about self-discovery, confidence, or the daily grind of becoming who you’re meant to be, his lyrics meet listeners where they are and then invite them to go higher.

    The StreetLyte Connection

“2 The Moon” also reinforces the mission behind the StreetLyte movement. While Psunami Great is the artist, StreetLyte is the movement—a community built for the fans, the dreamers, and anyone who has ever felt like an outsider looking in. The song embodies that spirit, encouraging listeners to own their identity, shake off the weight of expectation, and shine in places where light is needed most.

The track is more than an anthem; it’s an invitation. An invitation to get up, get ready, and head straight to the moon—no matter what tried to keep you grounded.

    What’s Next

With “2 The Moon” arriving this October, Psunami Great and QTG Management are gearing up for an exciting season. The single represents the culmination of months of branding, foundation-building, and creative development—all leading to this moment.

Fans can expect more announcements in the coming weeks, including release date details, visual content, and StreetLyte community initiatives tied to the single’s rollout.
