The teaser of season 2 of Paatal Lok, a highly awaited Prime Video India series, has officially been released by the makers. The second season is coming after a gap of five years. During the pandemic in 2020, the crime thriller was released and quickly gained a lot of popularity on the OTT platform.

The excitement among fans doubled as the popular series will bring back actor Jaideep Ahlawat as the police inspector Hathi Ram Chaudhary. In the teaser, it can be seen Ahlawat is narrating a story from the Hindu epic Mahabharata just like the first season.
Other than Ahlawat, the cast includes Ishwak Singh, Gul Panag, Tillotama Shome, Nagesh Kukunoor, and Jahnu Barua. Written and created by Sudip Sharma, the second season of Pataal Lok is directed by Avinash Arun Dhaware. The Paatal Lok season 2 will have an 8-episode series and will start streaming from January 17 on Prime Video.
