Ambala – The District Magistrate of Ambala, Mr. Ajay Singh Tomer (IAS), has ordered a complete blackout during night hours in the district due to a possible threat of an air strike from Pakistan.
This decision has been made to protect people and important places from any possible attack using drones or other means. The order says that from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, no outdoor lights should be used. This includes lights powered by inverters, generators, or any other backup sources. Items such as billboard lights, streetlights, and outdoor decorations must be switched off.
People are allowed to use power backup systems inside their homes, but only if all windows and doors are covered with thick curtains, so that no light is visible from outside.
The police will make sure that everyone follows this rule. If anyone breaks the rule, they can be punished under the law.
The order is being shared across police stations, bus stands, local offices, and villages so that everyone is aware. The rule will stay in place until further notice.
This step is being taken as a safety measure to protect Ambala and its people during this time of possible danger.
