Manish Sisodia claims BJP approached, would drop cases if join them

Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia made a big claim that he received a message from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to leave Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and join BJP to get relief from the CBI and Enforcement Directorate cases against him.

I have received a message from the BJP to split the AAP and join them. They said all CBI and ED cases would be closed if I did that. My answer to the BJP is — I am a descendant of Maharana Pratap. I am a Rajput. I am willing to get my head severed but I will not bow before corrupt, conspiratorial people. All cases against me are a lie. Do what you wish,” Sisodia tweeted on Monday

He tweeted hours after claiming that a Look Out Circular (LOC) was against him. Since the CBI raided 21 locations, including Sisodia’s house, the BJP and AAP have engaged in a political football with each other.

“I know he (Manish Sisodia, Delhi Deputy CM) would be arrested soon. I knew this months back. The country has a new system now, they decide who to send to jail & then a made-up case is presented,” Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said, in an online press briefing.

On the other hand, BJP held a press conference at party headquarter where the party’s national spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia denied all the allegations. He said that Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and DyCM Manish Sisodia have no answers to the questions raised by BJP on the irregularities in the excise policy.
