An inappropriate video of Punjabi actress Mandy Thakar was getting viral on the internet in the recent past. The alleged video of the actress, who is trending on social media, went viral and drew a lot of attention. It was soon, however, discovered that Mandy’s face was morphed in the clip, and it was a fake video.
Still, the actress has been receiving vulgar messages and the video is being shared by many cyberbullies. And avoiding them all, Mandy posted a powerful message which is not being supported only by her fans but also by the Punjabi film industry.
Expressing her thoughts with sheer seriousness, Mandy wrote – “Video FAKE hai! Sareyan nu patta vi hai, Par hor viral karn da kam hi nahi muk riha thuada. Wah vade punjabiyo. Support karan waleyan da dilon thank you. Jo lok mainu message karke gandh bol rahe ne, remember Dhiyan te bhena sabh de ghar ne, main taan hai hi strong par har koi nahi hunda. Be careful. #cybercrime”.
From Diljit Dosanj to Ammy Virk, Neeru Bajwa, Nimrat Khaira, Sonam Bajwa, Tania and many other celebrities came in support of the actress. Mandy got the backing of them for showing courage and being daring in times like these. Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh shared Mandy’s story and wrote – “We are with you Mandy.. You are a strong woman”.
“Please for God’s sake stop spreading this and playing with peoples lives, we got your back @mandy.thakar,” Neeru Bajwa wrote. Ammy Virk posted – “Bless u Mandy, More power to you”.
“I humbly request every person reading this to pls be kind and thoughtful. pls. Say no to cyber bullying and harassment. ‘Stop watching and forwarding such shit as responsible people, If your wife or gf or sister went through this cyber harassment would you want others to watch the video???? Stop this now,” Sonam Bajwa penned down.
