June 20, 2026 will showcase the Global Internationals Tournament that features a variety of martial arts styles competing in sparring, weapons and form. The tournament is scheduled to take place in San Antonio, TX, USA. One of the attractions of the event will be American Tang Soo Do master Chris Wetherington competing against Irish Mixed Martial Artist Micah Ashby in a modified rules Boxing Match.
Wetherington, with experience in boxing, is a multi-time Hall of Fame martial artist. Ashby, will be making his boxing debut.
This will be a boxing modification of rules. The traditional gi and taekwondo style footwear will be used, with the rounds only being 2 minutes. However, all combat related rules will be the same as traditional boxing.
