The trailer of Amazon Prime’s upcoming comedy series, Dupahiya, is finally out! In the two-minute trailer, the fictional village named Dhadakpur, known as ‘Belgium of Bihar,’ is shown where chaos happens over a missing motorbike. The bike goes missing just before the ceremony and is a wedding gift.

Created and executive produced by Salona Bains Joshi and Shubh Shivdasani under the banner of Bombay Film Cartel, the comedy web series will release on Prime Video on March 7. It has an ensemble cast, including Gajraj Rao, Renuka Shahane, Bhuvan Arora, Sparsh Shrivastava, Shivani Raghuvanshi, and Yashpal Sharma.
“Dupahiya is a project I’m truly thrilled to be a part of. Playing Banwari Jha—a mathematics teacher who sets aside calculations and follows his heart when it comes to his daughter’s happiness—has been a delightful experience,” says Gajraj Rao about the series.
Directed by Sonam Nair, the upcoming web series is created and written by Avinash Dwivedi and Chirag Garg. The trailer is filled with chaos, drama, misadventures, and a lot of comedy.
