Hello Mason McNulty, welcome to Blackbird News! When you’re not filming or recording music, what does a perfect day off look like for Mason McNulty?
A perfect day for me is relaxing on the beach with my friends. There is something so calming about the waves and the ocean.
You’re known for being a huge horror movie fan. What is it about the horror genre that keeps you coming back, and do you have an all-time favorite film?
What keeps me coming back is the way the film makers continue to tell the stories by using the elements of fear and psychology. The perfect movie as an example is Obsession which happens to be my favorite movie.
Success often comes with a busy schedule. How do you maintain a healthy balance between work, fitness, family, and personal time?
I feel I definitely have a healthy balance of everything because of the supportive family I have. Everyone has their own roles and it works. It takes a village to make everything run.
What’s one daily habit or routine that has had the biggest positive impact on your life?
The one daily habit I have that has the biggest positive impact on my life if waking up with the attitude of it is a new day and a smile on my face.
If someone visited Los Angeles with you for a day, where would you take them to eat, relax, or explore?
If someone visited me here in Los Angeles for the day, I would definitely want to take them on the spooky tours of Los Angeles. There is so much history and the stories and urban legends that are out there are fascinating. I know it would be an adventure and visit no one will ever forget.

How would your friends describe you when the cameras are off?
My friends would describe me off camera as the fun and goofy guy. I don’t like to take things to seriously. Life is just way too short.
What are three things you simply can’t travel without?
I never travel without these three things: my phone, my wallet full of photos with family and friends, and a mini Spider-Man LEGO figure to keep me inspired.
Social media allows fans to see a part of your life. Is there a side of Mason McNulty that people rarely get to see?
There really isn’t anything that people don’t see in my social media that they would not see when they see me in person. I don’t believe in being a fake person. And portraying someone different on social media than who they would meet in person would definitely be fake.
Looking ahead five years, what does your ideal life look like – both professionally and personally?
Looking ahead 5 years, I picture my life really involved in my dreams and making them happen. Professionally I really hope I can take my singing career to the moon same with my acting career. For personal I hope I can find time to chill a hang out with family and friends which are the most important.
