South superstar Yash’s much-anticipated film, Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups, has been postponed. Originally scheduled to release on March 19, clashing with Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2, the film has now been pushed to June 4. Yash’s Toxic has been shot in Kannada and English, while the film will also release in Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu, and Tamil worldwide.
“Toxic : A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups – in Cinemas Worldwide on 4 June 2026,” actor Yash captioned his Instagram post, sharing the official statement on the social media.

“After years of dedicated labour, we were excited to share our film with you all on the 19th of March. However, the current uncertainty, especially in the Middle East, has created a situation that impacts our goal to reach and connect with the widest possible audience,” the makers said in the official statement.
Directed by Geethu Mohandas, Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups will also avoid a huge box office clash with Aditya Dhar’s directorial Dhurandhar 2, for which fans are eagerly awaiting. Other than Yash, the film also stars Rukmini Vasanth, Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Huma Qureshi, Akshay Oberoi, and Sudev Nair in important roles.
