Drita Ziri, born on June 15, 2005, has rapidly become a notable figure in the world of beauty pageants, marking her place in history as the first Albanian to clinch the coveted Miss Earth title. At 18, Drita secured the Miss Earth 2023 crown in Vietnam and became the youngest pageant winner.
Miss Shqipëria 2022
Drita’s journey to international stardom began with her participation in the Miss Shqipëria 2022 pageant, where she competed against 27 finalists. Held on July 3, 2022, in Himare, Albania, Drita emerged victorious, claiming the title of Miss Shqiperia 2022. This win allowed her to represent Albania at The Miss Globe 2022.
The Miss Globe 2022
Drita continued to shine on the international stage at The Miss Globe 2022 held on October 21, 2022, in Tirana, Albania. Not only did she secure the Miss Bikini award, but her photogenic appeal also garnered her the Miss Photogenic title, as voted by the public. Drita’s impressive performance led her to be recognized as the second runner-up in the competition.
Miss Earth 2023
Drita’s journey reached its pinnacle when she was appointed as Miss Earth Albania 2023 by the Deliart Association. Representing her country at Miss Earth 2023 in Vietnam, Drita’s charisma and advocacy shone through. On December 22, 2023, in Van Phuc City, Thủ Đức, Vietnam, she made history by winning the Miss Earth 2023 title. Crowned by the outgoing Miss Earth 2022, Mina Sue Choi from South Korea, Drita became the youngest entrant ever to win the prestigious pageant at the age of 18.
Beyond the Crown
Standing at an impressive height of 1.73 meters, Drita Ziri is not only a beauty queen but also a Tourism Management student and a television host. Her success extends beyond the glitz and glamour of the pageant world, as she actively engages in various social activities. Notably, Drita has been involved in a breast cancer awareness campaign, demonstrating her commitment to important social causes.
