The trailer of the highly anticipated series Taskaree: The Smuggler’s Web is finally out. Starring Emraan Hashmi in the lead role, the trailer of the upcoming web series gives a glimpse into the world of customs officers and global smuggling networks.

Set to premiere on January 13 on Netflix, the upcoming thriller series is created by Neeraj Pandey. Other than Emraan Hashmi, the series also stars Amruta Khanvilkar, Nandish Singh Sandhu, Anurag Sinha, and Sharad Kelkar in key roles. Taskaree will be Neeraj Pandey’s fourth collaboration with Netflix. The director has earlier collaborated for Sikandar Ka Muqaddar, Khakee: The Bihar Chapter, and Khakee: The Bengal Chapter.
The trailer of Taskaree shows how the team tracks smugglers who move goods through covert routes, including Al-Dera, Addis Ababa, Milan, and Bangkok. Emraan Hashmi was recently seen in Haq, which started streaming on Netflix recently. Before Haq, the actor did a cameo for Aryan Khan’s The Bads of Bollywood.
