    Release of the Week: Sitaare Zameen Par is all set to hit the big screens

    Aamir Khan’s much-awaited Sitaare Zameen Par is all set to release on June 20. The Directed by RS Prasanna, the film is presented as a spiritual sequel to Aamir’s hit 2007 film Taare Zameen Par. The 60-year-old actor is returning to the big screen after a 3-year gap, as his last release was Laal Singh Chaddha.

    For the OTT release of his upcoming film, Aamir Khan has made a bold decision of not selling the film’s rights for OTT to any giant platforms so that his film can enjoy a full theatrical run. According to reports, the PK star has rejected an offer of Rs 120 crore from Amazon Prime Video.

    Recently, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s video where he is meeting the star cast of Aamir Khan’s upcoming film has gone viral. In the video, it can be seen that Shah Rukh Khan is telling the cast how Aamir Khan has told the superstar to visit the sets.

    Other than Aamir Khan, the film stars Genelia D’Souza and 10 debutant actors: Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishna Varma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra, and Simran Mangeshka. The advance booking of the film has started already, even though the response has not been up to the mark.
