Helmed by Raj Kumar Gupta, Raid 2 stars Ritesh Deshmukh as an antagonist in the film. Other than Ajay Devgn and Ritesh Deshmukh, Raid 2 also stars Vaani Kapoor, Rajat Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla, Supriya Pathak, and Amit Sial. The film is receiving mixed reviews, as some critics find the movie to be slow.
“#Raid2 — An AVERAGE affair. Rating: 2.5 Film starts off on a promising note but loses its grip later on. The first half is patchy and slow paced. The 2nd half is comparatively better with some engaging moments, but gets repetitive and predictable after a point. #AjayDevgn is ordinary in his role. He seemed uninterested and looked tired in many scenes. #RiteishDeshmukh is terrific in his role and steals the show. #VaaniKapoor has nothing much to do and is strictly okay. #AmitSial is excellent and is very impressive. #SaurabhShukla has limited scope but he entertains. Rajkumar Gupta’s direction is decent. The problem lies with the story and screenplay. Trailer was impactful and thus the expectations were high but the film turns out to be a half-baked product. Overall, an average flick that entertains but in parts,” movie critic Aavishkar tweeted his review.
