The highly anticipated trailer of Ajay Devgn’s Raid 2, the sequel to the 2018 superhit Raid, has finally been released. Packed with intense drama, the trailer shows a showdown between an honest IRS officer played by Ajay Devgn and a corrupt politician played by Riteish Deshmukh.

The first movie in the Raid series was inspired by a true Income Tax raid from the 1980s. Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, the film also stars Riteish Deshmukh, Vaani Kapoor, Rajat Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla, Supriya Pathak, and Amit Sial in key roles.
The trailer promises the film to be high on drama and a battle of morals and corruption. The trailer was launched in Mumbai today with the whole cast present there. Raid 2 will be released on May 1, 2025. Produced by Panorama Studios, the film will bring back Ajay Devgn as the income tax officer Amay Patnaik, who received a lot of praise in the first film.
