YRF’s latest film in the Spy Universe, War 2, was released at the box office on August 14 amidst mixed reviews and mixed reactions from the public. Starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR in the lead roles, the film clashed with Rajinikanth’s Coolie at the box office. Yash Raj Films’ latest spy actioner is set to make its OTT debut on Netflix from October 9 onwards.

Directed by Ayan Mukherji, War 2 also stars Kiara Advani and Ashutosh Rana in key roles. The film has a cameo of Bobby Deol as well. Even though the film was an underperformer at the box office, it would be interesting to see how it performs at the box office.
War 2 will stream in three languages on Netflix: Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil. It also becomes the first movie of the YRF Spy Universe series to release on Netflix. All the previous Spy Universe films, including Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War, Pathaan, and Tiger 3, were released on Amazon Prime Video.
