In celebration of Bi Visibility Day, on September 23rd, Lucy & La Mer released her new single, “Palm Springs.” This track is a vibrant and uplifting poolside anthem that showcases Lucy’s signature style, as well as lyrically delivering a powerful statement of acceptance and visibility for the bi+ community.
The artist passionately shared, “I set out to create a song that joyfully celebrates the journey of discovering your own unique connections and attractions. Labels should be about empowerment and visibility, not confinement. Sadly, there’s still an intense amount of stigma surrounding those exploring their sexuality, particularly those who don’t fit neatly into the straight or gay categories. We need to champion the bi-curious and foster an environment where multiple labels, or none at all, are embraced and celebrated.”
