Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra died on the morning of November 24, 2025, after facing health problems for a long time. He was 89 and had been in the hospital recently. Earlier that day, an ambulance at his Juhu home worried fans, and soon after, the sad news of his passing was shared.

As the news spread, hundreds of fans gathered outside the Pawan Hans Crematorium in Vile Parle, hoping to see the superstar one last time. The crowd was overcome with grief, and many people cried. One elderly woman, who had followed Dharmendra’s career from the start, was seen crying uncontrollably. This showed how deeply the actor was connected to his audience. Police had difficulty managing the large crowd.

    Bollywood Mourns the ‘He-Man’

Several Bollywood actors came to the crematorium to pay their last respects. Shah Rukh Khan arrived with folded hands and a heavy heart. Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, who acted with Dharmendra in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, were among the first to arrive.

Akshay Kumar shared an emotional message, calling Dharmendra the industry’s “original He-Man” and thanking him for inspiring generations. Sushmita Sen also posted a heartfelt tribute, remembering his warmth, generosity, and infectious laughter.

Karan Johar described him as “the embodiment of a hero” and said he is a legend who will always be remembered in the history of Indian cinema.

    Leaders Across India Pay Tribute

Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed sadness over the actor’s passing, saying his death marks “the end of an era.” He remembered Dharmendra for his charm, versatility, and simplicity.

President Droupadi Murmu also expressed her condolences, calling him one of India’s most popular actors whose legacy will continue to inspire young artists. Home Minister Amit Shah and politician Rahul Gandhi also shared their heartfelt condolences.

Family and Close Friends Bid Farewell

Dharmendra’s family, including Hema Malini and Esha Deol, was seen at the crematorium offering their final prayers. Hema Malini greeted the crowds and media with folded hands and stayed calm during the emotional moment.

Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Amitabh Bachchan, and Abhishek Bachchan were also present, showing how much Dharmendra was respected in the film industry.

A Star Who Will Live Forever

Dharmendra’s death has left a big gap in Indian cinema. His career lasted more than sixty years, and his performances touched millions. He leaves a legacy that will live on through his films, his memorable screen presence, and the love of his fans.

For many, Dharmendra was not just a movie star. He was a symbol of strength, humility, and timeless charm. People will remember him through the stories, characters, and emotions he brought to life on screen.
