    Kurukshetra Trailer: New Animated Series on Mahabharata set to premiere on Netflix

    Netflix has released the trailer of Kurukshetra, an upcoming animated series based on the Mahabharata. Set to premiere on Netflix on October 10, the upcoming series retells the Mahabharata through 18 warriors’ perspectives. Kurukshetra will release in two parts, with nine episodes in each.

    Watch Kurukshetra, out 10 October, only on Netflix,” Netflix India captioned their Instagram post while sharing the official trailer.

    Starring Vinod Sharma, Sahil Vaid, Saumya Daan, and Annamaya Verma, Kurukshetra is written and directed by Ujaan Ganguly. Created by Anu Sikka and produced by Tipping, the animation of the upcoming series is done by Hitech Animation. The series will release in various languages: English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Spanish, Portuguese, Thai, and Indonesian.

    The trailer begins with the voice of legendary Gulzar, the lyricist and poet. In the two-and-a-half-minute trailer, the visual effects look extraordinary, showcasing the divine weapons, war sequences, and the Kurukshetra, where the war happened between the Pandavas and the Kauravas. Kurukshetra will be premiering on Netflix from Oct 10.
