In the age of digital media, celebrities often find themselves in the controversies that impact their professional and personal lives. The incidents of celebrities becoming soft targets for controversies are not new, but the way it has escalated in recent times is something noticeable. Two perfect examples are the arrest of Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, and the controversy surrounding actor Allu Arjun in a tragic stampede incident.

Aryan Khan was arrested in October 2021 during a raid on a cruise ship where illegal drugs were allegedly consumed. The incident immediately turned into a media trial, with news outlets and social media users blaming the superstar and his son. Despite being an adult with no prior criminal records, Aryan Khan was targeted for public scrutiny.

Recently, Allu Arjun faced a lot of backlash and was arrested following a tragic incident where a stampede led to the death of the woman. While the actor was not directly responsible for the incident, the actor became a soft target for the incident like anything.

The cases of Aryan Khan and Allu Arjun are prime examples of how easily celebrities can become entangled in controversies that they have to take the blame even without being guilty. Also, the media trials are the icing on the cake, as they get sensational headlines for their news channels.
