In the 92-year history of the FIFA World Cup, the final between Argentina and France can be called the wildest and most exciting final of all time. Though it was Argentina who won the world cup in Qatar in the final on penalties, France’s comeback in the match made the game spicier and maddening.

It’s anyone’s childhood dream. I was lucky to have achieved everything in this career and this one that was missing is here. It’s madness. Look how she (the World Cup) is, she’s gorgeous. I wanted her so much. I had avision that this would be the one. She was getting closer,” Messi said.

Initially, the match got to drawn with 3-3 goals by each team. Later on, Mbappé and Messi took the first penalties for their teams and succeeded too. However, France lost its luck in the next two turns after their penalty, which ultimately took the match away from them.

Argentina won the game by beating France 4-2 in a penalty shootout. People all over the world celebrated their favourite footballer Messi’s victory as their own. “We suffer, but we already have it (the World Cup). I wanted to close my career with this, I can no longer ask for anything else, thank God, hegave me everything,” Messi added.
