Emilia Clarke brought a bold fashion moment to London Fashion Week as she attended the Alexander McQueen Spring/Summer 2027 show in a striking tweed ensemble from the British fashion house.
The Game of Thrones star wore a grey herringbone tweed set featuring a cropped jacket with dramatically gathered shoulders and a wrap belt that defined the waist. The matching pleated micro miniskirt added a much shorter, playful element to the otherwise structured outfit.
Clarke paired the look with taupe knee-high boots featuring pointed toes and block heels. The tall boots created a polished contrast with the short skirt while giving the outfit a distinctly sophisticated finish.
The ensemble was originally presented on the Alexander McQueen Fall/Winter 2026 runway, where it was styled with similarly tall boots. Clarke’s appearance gave the runway look a fresh interpretation for London Fashion Week.
She kept her accessories relatively focused, wearing a beaded choker with dark stones and gold hoop earrings. She also carried McQueen’s black leather Locke bag, finished with the brand’s distinctive heart-shaped padlock detail.
Her hair was pulled back into a low style, allowing the sculptural shoulders, jewellery and sharp tailoring to remain the focus.
The outfit was a noticeable change from some of Clarke’s softer recent fashion appearances. With its traditional tweed, dramatic shoulders, pleated mini skirt and knee-high boots, the look brought together classic British tailoring and a more contemporary silhouette.
At London Fashion Week, Clarke once again showed how a runway piece can take on a completely different character when worn off the catwalk.
