Victoria Emily, a mother of two from Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk, is preparing to represent Britain at the FMG World Finals in Australia next month. Her journey is special because she was born with Lymphoedema, a long-term condition that causes swelling in the legs and can make movement painful and difficult. Despite these challenges, she has built a successful career as a fitness athlete and bikini bodybuilder.
Lymphoedema requires constant management, and throughout her life, Emily has had to carefully balance her health. She has relied on medical treatments such as massages to reduce swelling, alongside dedicated physical training and strict nutrition plans. Over time, her determination has not only helped her manage the condition but also excel in competitive bodybuilding.
Her career has gained momentum this year. In June, she won her first professional title in Italy. Following that success, she competed at the FMG show in London, which brought together athletes from many different countries.
Contestants competed across several categories, including bikini, fitness, wellness, muscle, and figure. Each competitor was judged on their physique, stage presence, and overall performance.
Emily impressed the judges and finished third in the bikini category, becoming the highest-placed athlete from the UK.
Now, with her achievements building up, Emily is set to take the next step at the FMG World Finals in Australia. The event is regarded as one of the most prestigious competitions on the bodybuilding calendar, and it will provide her with the opportunity to compete against some of the world’s top athletes.
Alongside her own career, Emily also supports other women through training, coaching, and hormone support, particularly new mothers who face challenges in regaining their confidence and fitness after childbirth. Her story is one of resilience and inspiration, demonstrating how determination and discipline can overcome even the most formidable obstacles.
