Rising indie-pop artist Ava Franks returns with her heartfelt new single, “Every Day,” a lush, acoustic guitar-driven track that glows with warmth and vulnerability. Blending luminous melodies with her distinct, emotive vocals, Ava perfectly captures the euphoric uncertainty of falling in love for the first time.
“It explores the beginning stages of a relationship when you’re feeling all of the uncertainty, hope, and mystery that goes along with falling in love,” Ava shares. “It’s about wanting to see that person all the time and hoping they can read your mind.”
Produced by acclaimed multi-platinum duo Shep Goodman and Aaron Accetta, the track radiates a soft intimacy that feels both timeless and contemporary. With its intricate guitar layers and tender lyrical delivery, “Every Day” is a warm embrace — the kind of song that lingers long after it ends.
Born and raised in suburban New York, Ava Franks grew up surrounded by creativity. From singing in school musicals and local talent shows to writing songs inspired by her favorite stories, she developed a deep passion for music and storytelling early on. Her influences range from Taylor Swift’s pop anthems and the lyrical depth of Hamilton, to James Baldwin’s literary brilliance and the emotional resonance of animated films like Soul. Through her music, Ava strives to create tangible worlds — emotional spaces listeners can escape into and truly feel at home in.
Her artistic journey began in 2021 with the release of “3 Pines,” a heartfelt ballad about falling in love in the desert. Since then, she has crafted a series of honest, introspective tracks including “Silhouette,” “Wait For You To Apologize,” “Golden Child,” “Do Or Die,” and “I’ve Been Waiting.” Her evolving sound blends the charm of classic pop with modern textures, fusing rich synth tones and layered vocals to create something both nostalgic and fresh.
Outside of music, Ava’s story is equally inspiring. A former competitive swimmer, she was a four-year member of the varsity swim team at Yale University, where she majored in English. Her discipline from years of swimming carries into her artistry — a mix of focus, heart, and persistence. Deeply connected to her family, Ava often visits her parents in Irvington, NY, where they live with her two younger brothers, Finn and Kelly, and their beloved dogs.
When she’s not writing songs or performing, Ava can be found exploring New York’s vibrant food scene. She’s currently on a mission to find the best burrito in the city, and she’s open to any and all recommendations.
With “Every Day,” Ava Franks once again proves her ability to blend sincerity, storytelling, and melody into something truly special — a song that feels like the flutter of new love itself.
