India based Infoshopi provides multiple services to help with the preparation including online mock interviews, interview tips and interview coaching for both working professionals and students.
In this interview with Deepa Ravichandran, Co-founder of Infoshopi, we asked few questions about their services and how they plan to create a difference. Below is our interview with them.
HELLO! CAN YOU TELL US ABOUT INFOSHOPI?
Infoshopi is an online platform to assist job seekers with their preparations to land their dream jobs. We do this through online mock interviews and interview coaching services. We also post a video every week on YouTube providing a template for common interview questions.
WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO LAUNCH INFOSHOPI?
When I read about the number of jobs lost due to COVID in Q2 2020, I felt bad. I wanted to do something to help them. And when my husband told me from his experience as a practice lead in a leading MNC that most interviewees lack confidence though they seem to have the experience, I immediately knew what I should do. I realized I should help in boosting their confidence and help with their job interview preparations. And Infoshopi was born.
WITH MANY SITES OFFERING FREE MOCK INTERVIEWS, WHY DO YOU THINK JOB SEEKERS WILL REACH OUT TO INFOSHOPI?
While we were still designing the website, we already received bookings and enquiries from both working professionals and college students. We take online mock interviews only if we can get a perfect profile match and make it clear to the clients. Also, as part of Interview coaching, we provide templates for interview questions as well as help in preparing customized answers based on the profile of the job seekers domain. With such openness and commitment, we are sure that the clients will know they can totally rely on us and get prepared for tougher interviews.
WE LEARNT YOU OFFER FREE WEBINARS FOR COLLEGE STUDENTS. CAN YOU TELL ABOUT THAT?
Yes. There are several colleges in Tier 2 cities where we have abundant talent among students who are not able to clear the Campus interviews due to lack of exposure. To help them get the confidence, we decided that we will conduct free workshops and webinars. We expect this will help them get some exposure and practice before they attend their Campus interviews.
WHAT ARE YOUR TARGETS FOR 2021?
Our target for 2021 is two-fold. We want to tie-up with a minimum of 10 colleges from Tier 2 cities and provide free workshops to help them prepare for Campus interviews. And for working professionals, we are currently covering only IT domains and want to expand our portfolio to include both IT and non-IT domains in 2021.
